About the festival

Worldwide rock back Evanescence return to Portugal in October 2021 for a special concert inside Lisbon's Altice Arena as they celebrate 25 years of success and the release of a new album.

This special show form part of the band's autumn European tour to mark the release of The Bitter Truth, Evanescence's first studio album in nine years.

Twice winners at the Grammy Awards, Evanescence have become one of rock music's leading bands. Their debut album Fallen, released in 2003, spent 43 weeks in the Billboard Top 10 and sold over 17 million copies, quickly transforming Evanescence into one of the most popular post-alternative names of the 2000s with their unique sound, which is a singular hybrid of gothic and pop rock.

Over the years Fallen has gone seven times platinum and is one of just eight albums in the entire history of Billboard to have spent at least a year in the Top 50. Despite their early success, Evanescence has always managed to remain at the top. With singer and pianist Amy Lee at the helm from the very first moment, the band have reached the pinnacle of success, cemented by three more leading records, The Open Door, Evanescence and Synthesis.
