Refundable amount

The first question that interests everyone who cancels a trip is how much of the funds will be refunded.

Legislation establishes a simple rule that looks like this "The customer has the right to refuse to execute the contract for the provision of services for compensation, provided that the contractor pays for the actual costs incurred by him"; (Clause 1 of Article 782 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).

We believe that this rule is very fair for both parties to the service agreement, since it allows both the contractor to avoid losses and the customer to receive a refund without any penalties from the contractor.

In accordance with the law, you can get an idea of the amount that will be returned to you.

How it looks in practice

  • The actual costs incurred always include the market value of the tickets indicated in the contract. All over the world there are rules according to which a concert ticket can be returned only if the concert is canceled due to the fault of the concert organizer. Thus, concert tickets are non-refundable, and if you cancel your trip, they will completely burn out. We can try to sell them together with the tour to our other clients, but such situations are not predictable and cannot be guaranteed. However, if successful, you will be refunded a portion of the cost of such tickets.
  • Hotels impose cancellation penalties. These fines are actually incurred expenses. Penalties may be absent (as a rule, if the booking is canceled more than a month before the start of the tour), constitute a certain percentage of the cost of the hotel service (again, in accordance with the hotel rules), or 100% (if the booking is canceled a short time before check-in or during high season such as New Years).
  • Transport companies (ferry, bus, airlines) impose penalties for cancellation of reservations and cancellation of tickets. The amount of penalties depends on the terms of cancellation of tickets and the specifics of the fares at which these tickets were purchased. For example, any economy fares of airlines are subject to serious penalties (50-75% of the ticket price) if canceled. And tickets of foreign low-cost airlines are generally non-refundable.

We kindly ask you to read the cancellation clauses of services in your agreement, which you receive together with the invoice, and treat with understanding the calculation of the refund amount provided by us in case you still had to cancel the trip.
