About the festival

Festival de Nîmes has been running every summer since 1977 in a beautiful Roman Amphitheater built in 100 A.D. in the South of France. The venue can fit 10,000 people and the juxtaposition of modern artists playing at such a historical venue gives the event a magical tinge.

Festival de Nîmes is a series of concerts that takes place for a month during various weekends between June and July, with 2021's edition featuring shows with Gorillaz, Foo Fighters, Christophe Maé, Sting, KISS and Black Eyed Peas.
