About the festival
Green Man Festival is a Welsh alternative music haven held amongst the splendour of the country's Brecon Beacons, and in its two decades of existence has become one of the UK's most revered celebrations of all things indie and imaginative.
As Wales' biggest - and undoubtedly most famous - music festival, Green Man has built its reputation on showcasing an exquisite blend of boundary-pushing icons that helped changed the course of contemporary sounds, alongside artists that explore new avenues within traditional forms of music.
After celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2022, the idyllic and entirely independent festival - which welcomes 25,000 music fans young and old to the heart of Wales - returns in 2023 for another immersive edition.
Despite the music's magnetism, there is plenty of curricular activities for the inquisitive festival-goer including scientific debate and experiments in 'Einstein's Garden', spoken word poetry, standup comedy, as well as the immersive scenery to warrant your attention.
