About the festival
Metalfest Open Air, held in Plzeň, Czech Republic, is one of the country's most recognised and favourite heavy metal music festivals.
Dedicated disciples of the heaviest guitar sounds make their way to the outdoor Lochotín amphitheatre from all corners of Europe, where headbanging, moshing, and raising the devil-horns are a prerequisite.
This sanctuary for heavy metal revellers regularly invites international acts with the most iconic riffs with Running Wild, Within Temptation, Eluveitie, and Soulfly headlining in 2021.
