About the festival
Aftershock Festival is a rock and heavy metal music festival in Sacramento, California. Started in 2012, the festival is heading into its ninth edition.
Expanding to four days this year for the first time ever, Aftershock 2021 boasts a stacked lineup topped by rock legends complimented with some of the heaviest and most creative bands out today.
After taking 2020 off like the rest of the world, the festival is back and bigger than ever, featuring two unique sets from Metallica and a headlining set from the newly reformed My Chemical Romance.
