MUTEK San Francisco is the American outpost of the critically acclaimed experimental music festival series.
As more and more festivals become mere money making ventures, MUTEK has consistently stayed true to its purpose of providing a platform for creatives outside the mainstream.
Taking place in various venues throughout San Fransisco, the festival showcases not only music but visual arts and digital tech, as well as hosting workshops and panel discussions to push the mediums forward.
