About the festival

South Facing Festival is an outdoor London concert series that takes over the capital's Crystal Palace Bowl.

Setting up at the iconic Crystal Palace Bowl – an unique venue steeps in musical history and tradition that goes back more than 150 years – South Facing Festival's debut edition in 2021 saw the likes of Dizzee Rascal & The Outlook Orchestra, Supergrass, The Streets, Max Richer, Sleaford Mods and The English National Opera perform in this incredible venue.

For more than a decade the Crystal Palace Bowl has lain dormant, but South Facing Festival came about to ‘reboot the rusty laptop’ (as it's affectionally known by locals) and bring live music back to one of its spiritual homes in South London.

Created by some of the people behind festivals including Field Day, Winterville, Cross The Tracks, Wide Awake and Dimensions, South Facing Festival aim to deliver a highly sustainable event series, which reinvigorates the venue and surrounding area, and ultimately has zero environmental impact.
