On June 2, 2019, we went by bus to Tallinn to meet Bon Jovi again in Europe 6 years later. What awaited us? Great company, changeable but still pleasant weather, unique atmosphere of old Tallinn, new friends and old friends. And the MAIN THING is a break in the fan zone for the best tracks of John and company! Yeaaahhh !!!

Summer cannot be opened better than a tour to the Bon Jovi concert, especially if the concert takes place on a wonderful open area - Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. The main thing in this case is the weather. We cannot 100% say that we were lucky with her. After all, when we arrived in the capital of Estonia at about 14-00, it was pretty chilly. And instead of long walks along the old cozy streets, we all wanted to get into a cozy cafe as soon as possible. Fortunately, there are absolutely no problems with such places in Tallinn!

We came across an incredibly delicious pancake, decorated in the spirit of Soviet canteens. The townspeople were already nesting there and the queue at the checkout was very busy. You can understand them - the portions are gigantic, the assortment of fillings will conquer any gourmet, and the cider looked like a drink of the gods. And the most interesting thing is that the institution is located very close to the town hall square.

After lunch, we met a couple of our tourists who were traveling on their own, and ... we decided that it was still cold for walking, but it’s time to visit Depeche Mode Bar! So it didn’t take long to walk - in a couple of tens of meters, the very fashionable DM Bar lurked: an unrealistically atmospheric institution - in the spirit of the underground of the 80s, with neon and concert photos. The daredevils ordered a few of the most atomic Tabasco shots, and the rest filmed it all in stories. Classic.

Meanwhile, the concert was approaching. Some of the guys even went to the opening act - Terminaator and Santa Cruz took the stage. But many still continued to wander around Tallinn (which is very difficult to refuse)

When we realized that we still have to leave the narrow streets for the sake of John Bon Jovi, we decided to boo and call a taxi (fortunately, there were a lot of us and it cost 4-5 euros). The Russian-speaking driver asked us about the upcoming concert, and the passengers warmed up with cocktails in paints described what would happen in general.

Note that the set list has pleased us with new tracks and hits that viewers of all ages have been waiting for! John and the guys are real workaholics. The shows that Bon Jovi bring anywhere are a highly professional product. Therefore, we did not have to doubt that it would be as epic and emotionally as possible.

We shouted all the songs of the set just like for the last time. Because Bon Jovi is generally an ideal group for summer stadiums. However, we must take into account the peculiarities of the local audience: in the middle of the concert, a smiling woman of about 40 turned to us and said that we were disturbing her with our dances, because she came to listen to music! Perhaps, at a rock concert I have never heard this. We shrugged our shoulders, but continued the fun on the next track. Moreover, it was It's my Life - and then God himself ordered, as they say ...

Towards midnight, when the concert was over, we began to gather at the exit, and then looked for a bus, which had to change its location in the general traffic and parking mess that comes after large-scale shows. However, everything ended successfully. And we plunged back into the salon, armed with sausages at the nearest gas station. Cool Tallinn said goodbye to us, and we watched the video on the phone and were touched ... For many, Bon Jovi is a group of youth or the first introduction to the world of rock music as such. Someone considers this material naive, but the gift of hitmaking cannot be taken away from these people. And the fact that this group has existed for 30 years is wonderful in itself!
