Young, positive, fashionable, dancing, sociable - all this is about our, maybe not so much big, but wonderful get-together, which took place on a 4-day cruise (as we love!) St. Petersburg-Helsinki-Stockholm. The reason for the meeting was NICKI MINAJ - and if someone underestimates the female rap performance - you are welcome to her show: everything was "rich", spectacular, energetic and on a grand scale, as world stars can do!
We enjoyed the Scandinavian breeze, dinners in excellent company, a karaoke marathon on the ferry, unrestrained shopping in Stockholm and a cozy hotel in which, first of all, our legs rested after a crazy concert!
But it all started from St. Petersburg, from where our bus tour started. The first thing that we heard is the juiciest R'n'B and hip-hop of recent years. Of course, Ms Minaj was preferred in the playlist!
In windy Helsinki, we spent about an hour and a half before the departure of the ferry and managed to take a traditional photo on Senate Square
Then we plunged onto the ferry, where an excellent buffet was waiting for us, conversations over unlimited glasses of wine and, of course, evening entertainment like karaoke, smoothly turning into a dance party, and even a casino, where everyone just watched a dreamy woman in a shawl, who with a calm put and lost very large sums.
The second day of the Nicki MInaj concert tour began with cloudy Stockholm and check-in at a spacious hotel. Throwing our things, we drove up to the Royal Palace on our own bus and scattered to explore the old city. However, the day was so cold that it was mostly coffee shops and vinyl and music stores that wanted to explore. Fortunately, there is plenty of this on Drotttingatan. Along with Wi-Fi.
Before the concert, we stopped at the hotel, where we could even relax for another half hour, because we understood that if we go to the Minaj show today, then we will dance with our last bit of strength. And I also wanted to warm up after March Stockholm.
We left for the Globen Arena well in advance, because in the Swedish capital you can also get into a crazy traffic jam. But! Traffic was waiting for us not only on the roads. To get to the show, you had to stand in line to your gate, which stretched tens of meters around the entire concert venue! Despite the cold, people took their seats in the morning, because someone's thrown blankets, raincoats and packages from eaten fast food lunch were lying around. The wind and drizzling rain penetrated right through. And the only correct strategy was to take turns to bask in the nearest fast food restaurant. Because even waiting for the concert could do something with frostbitten fingers.
On the site, by the way, we took quite good places next to the podium (some lucky ones managed to stand in the first row). The audience was cheerful and warm, full of lax - make-up, sparkles and gorgeous people of all genders. The hall was filling up, and we were preparing for the start of the show.
When Nicki appeared, the hall exploded, and we couldn't believe that we were seeing what was happening so close! Minaj came out with a dozen dancers in a Roman goddess outfit to show Sweden the hoo from the hoo! It was really juicy. After performing the hit Anaconda, however, the goddess flew into the dressing room and was replaced by rapper Juice Wrld, who warmed up the Swedish audience with a dozen hits and correct beats in the middle of the show. Then Niki returned with a lyrical set, which she replaced with a portion of dance litas, crazy dances and frantic energy for the final. Yaaaassss!
On this brisk wave, we drove back to the hotel, without ceasing to rapchina (poor driver!) And some guys even decided to continue the grand party directly in the hotel rooms. But not everyone was enough for this. The day was long and busy.
In the morning, everyone met at the restaurant for breakfast, where you could crunch fresh toast, take porridge with a variety of jams, pancakes, aromatic teas and other delights of the morning buffet. The people who had gone to Minaj yesterday could be identified immediately. Of course, according to the merchandise they donned (or didn’t take off).
After checking out from the hotel, we loaded our things on the bus and again went to the city center. The weather was more favorable and gave us sunshine. And we even remembered that the calendar spring had begun!
In the afternoon, we returned to the ferry terminal, got the keys and made a clear plan for the farewell party: a global gathering for dinner, a trip to duty free, a cabin party according to the "15 people in 5 square meters" system and an evening cover show (which, by the way, we did not look, but just sat at the tables in the auditorium and discussed something cheerfully)
In the morning, having docked in Helsinki, we were still sleepy and got on the bus again and went to St. Petersburg. Everyone chatted and listened to music, but the approaching end of the trip made everything a little sad - very quickly we all became friends and laughed too much together before. Leaving the bus in St. Petersburg, we discussed for a long time who should go and where. The out-of-town guys who still had a spare time in the northern capital immediately realized that, in fact, you shouldn't be discouraged and you can still see each other before leaving (which actually happened - there was a March weekend ahead of everyone, and we managed to look at both the quest and anti-cafe)
Spring 2019 began enchantingly, the guys who traveled with us at the end did the right atmosphere for the trip and left the warmest memories of themselves. I know for sure - even Nicki Minaj's concert would not be so cool if not for this group of merry fellows!
I look forward to new meetings, parties and hangouts with you in any city in Europe (because we need concerts with the best sound and on a real scale). Noob and we hope that Nicky does not slow down and once again please us with world tours! And Vizittravel is organizing a new bus tour to a concert in Sweden!
